Lighting Matteotti square

This project concerns remaking the lighting of Imola's main square, both from a functional point of view and in accordance with the architectural redevelopment project for Imola's “Tre Piazze” (three squares). The project's installations were developed to give maximum flexibility, thanks to a remote controlled lighting system the square's lighting can be controlled, depending on the events or manifestations taking place. The main objective was to emphasize the historical buildings (these being the Town Hall, Palazzo Sersanti (Sersanti Palace), the Chiesa del Suffragio ( Suffragio Church) and the tower in di Via Aldrovandi, all of which surround the square itself) and their special architectural features, by use of different hues and colours.
